ABOUT ME

Endlessly curious about

how people think, act,

and decide.

I'm a UX Designer and UX Researcher who turns that curiosity into human-centered products. Whether I'm running a study or designing an interface, my goal is the same: make complexity feel simple and experiences feel intuitive.

JOURNALISM → UX RESEARCH

I spent years as a journalist investigating real human stories — from students with Tourette Syndrome navigating broken school systems in New York to survivors of female genital mutilation in France. That work taught me how to build trust, ask better questions, and listen for what's unsaid. Those skills live in my UX Research now — and in how I design interfaces that respect context, emotion, and lived experience.

HISTORY → SYSTEMS THINKING

Before entering tech, I studied History at Columbia, exploring how memory, identity, and power influence human behavior. Whether analyzing postwar propaganda or interviewing displaced communities, I was learning to decode invisible systems — patterns I now use to understand mental models, map user journeys, and design products that support real-world decision-making.

DATA + PRODUCT → DESIGN DISCIPLINE

At Google, I worked as a YouTube Trends Analyst, digging into SQL datasets to uncover cultural patterns and translating complex data into clear narratives for press and internal strategy. Years in product management sharpened that process — at Jellysmack, mixed-methods research uncovered a hidden user segment and drove 100% adoption. I learned to connect user needs with business goals, ship with constraints, and celebrate when insight unlocks adoption. Every interface is a decision, and every decision has ripples.

Now, in a Master's in UX/UI Design + AI, I bring all of this — the research rigor, the systems thinking, the product discipline — to every project. I'm most curious about designing for impact.

On a personal note: born and raised in Brazil, a decade in the U.S., and now France is home. I speak Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish — and outside of work you'll usually find me running, traveling, or learning Korean for fun.
